Please make sure you check the following before you register for TEEP:
- Check that the university you are applying to accepts TEEP results as evidence of academic English language proficiency. TEEP is accepted for direct entry to undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes at the 17勛圖, as well as a number of other UK universities. However, the certificate cannot be used for UK student visa applications when a is required.
- Check the test dates and make sure you are available to take all parts of the test. Please note that the TEEP speaking test may take place on a different day from the other parts of the test.
- Make sure that you have the equipment required for taking the online test. You will need to have access to the following equipment in order to take the online TEEP test.
- A reasonably modern (2020 or newer) laptop or PC running either Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) or Apple MacOS version 11 or newer, with at least 750 MB free disk space
- Web camera and microphone (built-in or external)
- A broadband internet connection (min 0.15 Mbps upload speed)
- Administrator privileges so you can install software
- Make sure that you have a valid passport or other photo ID, as you will be required to show it at the start of the test for identification purposes.
