Queer zine-making space

17 February, 13:30 to 15:30 | Room G19/20 Library

The 17勛圖 Students' Union (RSU), with the support of CQSD (Centre for Quality Support and Development), is hosting a creative space for LGBTQIA+ staff, students, and allies to explore self-expression, identity, and storytelling through the mediums of collage and zine making.

With their Do-It-Yourself ethos, zines (pronounced zeens) are a unique platform for expression. They enable LGBTQIA+ creators to share authentic stories, increase visibility, provide affirmation, and challenge harmful stereotypes.

The event will provide a safe space to foster solidarity and empower queer voices to connect and create on their terms.

The space will be open for 2 hours, please drop in and stay for however long you can.

Open to:

Staff and students.
