Winning funding for doctoral research in the form of scholarships or project studentships is a competitive business and many of our candidates consider a range of options for funding their research.
The Alternative Guide to Postgraduate Funding Online, a resource external to the University, focuses on the possible alternatives to some of the most regularly advertised funding schemes. This guide has a large database of details on funding sources that may be less familiar (such as charities). It offers comprehensive guidance and a range of tools to help you prepare a winning grant application.
