Areas of interest

Jacopo is Flexibility Theme Lead of the (EDRC). He serves as a member of Ofgem Academic Panel, the Panel of Technical Experts of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, the Strategic Advisory Team on Energy and Decarbonisation for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and Defra Economics Advisory Panel.

Jacopo has authored several books, including (2020), (2019) and (2015), all published by Routledge.

Jacopo’s expertise is particularly well-suited for addressing questions associated with demand-side flexibility. The challenge of using energy at different times of the day or the year is shared by Demand Side Response aggregators, energy retailers and system operators. Jacopo’s research can support organisations interested in assessing the potential, impacts and implications of demand-side flexibility analysis on demand-side flexibility.
